Not related.: Certain drugs, other than what your on, can elevate prolactin, and pituitary tumors, either micro or macro-ademonas can do this.Cabergoline will lower this at initial doeses of 0.5mg two times per week, and proably after several months, one times per week. Prolactin elevations can cause loss of menses or scant periods. They are also associated with increased depression, decreased libido, & pain!
