2 yr old. Recurring fevers. Blood work shows- LDH/CRP normal, white count 3,300 w/ range of 5,000-17,000, a lot if monocytes. Cancer concerns?
My 16 yo old son had a blood draw to check for anemia and only abnormality was low wbc. Normal 4.5, his was 4.2. Two weeks later his wbc is now 3.2. Slightly high monocytes. Neg for mono. Not sure what is going on. Scared its some type of cancer?
39/m here currently on TRT/pellet therapy. Blood work came back with all counts in range EXCEPT absolute monocytes at 1176 and appear to account for 24% of total WBC. How bad is this and what should my next steps be? Want to rule out cancers ASAP?
