Severe pain abnormal: Taking fiber and water to help with your bowel movements is a reasonable idea. I am concerned about "severe pain in stomach and back passage." i don't think this sounds normal. Some women get rectal pain from endometriosis - but this pain is often cyclical. Please be evaluated by your physician. S/he may advise that you see a gastroenterologist for further evaluation to assess your colon. Lgromko.
