Injury: You can get an injury to the lining around the spine (the dura). If there is a tear here, you can get leaking of the fluid (csf). Usually, this presents with headaches. This can be stopped by a simple "blood patch" where they take a little of your blood, and inject it over the area where you had your spinal tap. See your doctor and discuss.
