Yes: It will do nothing to make a dvd worsen or convert it toa pulmonary embolism, to my awareness.

Should be: Virtually any activity is safe with a deep vein thrombosis, as long as you are taking proper and adequate anti-coagulation. It generally takes 48 hours to get to that point--sometimes more. Once adequately anticoagulated, if doing something is uncomfortable then you shouldn't do it but, as long as you can do it comfortably, any activity is fine.
