After using walgrees saline nasal spray, i still have sinus pressure. should i switch to afrin nasal spray? i didn't really use the nasal spray often.

Completely different: Saline spray and oxymetazoline (afrin) are quite different. Oxymetazoline is a potent decongestant which works wonderfully for reducing nasal swelling. It is important to use this medication only intermittently and not for more than 3 or so days continuously.

Stay away from Afrin (oxymetazoline): Sorry about using brand names but you really want to stay from afrin, neosynephrine (phenylephrine) & similar products. They're fantastic decongestants but quickly lead to rhinitis medicamentosa which is our fancy way of saying you become addicted to them. Check out http://www.Nytimes.Com/2006/03/14/health/14spra.Html sinus pressure is expected w/common cold. Fever & sinus pain is more worrisome for sinus infxn.
