No: Meal supplements are meant to supplement, not replace, your regular meals. There are many micronutrients not found in meal supplements. Many don't have enough protein or fiber and end up as empty calories. This short-term solution is not viable for a lifetime. If "forgetting" is the issue, just set an alarm on your smartphone or on your computer. Set several, one for each meal.

Meal Supplement?: Why are you forgetting to eat? This is a big concern for anyone -- especially an 18 year old. I agree wholeheartedly with dr. Lin that boost or other meal supplements will not provide you enough of the nutrients you need to sustain you. Please see your physician for an evaluation, since this situation isn't normal at all. Some possible causes could be depression, substance use, and many more.

NO: Boost is meant as a supplement and not your only source of nutrition. A diet should have variety of components and boost doesnt.

No no no.: Supplements like Boost are helpful in certain situations to support calorie intake when it's otherwise compromised or difficult. They cannot serve as your only source of nutrient intake. You can supplement your regular sit-down meals with shakes or bars if you're on the go during they day.
