Acetaminophen: Acetaminphen (tylenol) and other narcotic analgesics for pain control only. Not as anti-inflammatory. Corticosteroids (such as prednisone) can be used as anti-inflammatory.

It depends: People should take acetamionphen or or trilisate (choline magnesium salicylate). Specific cox-2 inhibitors, such as celexocib or Meloxicam are good anti-inflammatory medications and are tolerated by nearly all NSAID intolerant patients. They are available by prescription only. If NSAID are absolutely necessary, some patients may tolerate one nsaid, but not another. Sometimes, patients can desensitized. See a good allergist.
