Yes: Taking zantac (ranitidine) or similar medicines that reduce acid production in the stomach may actually decrease the risk of inflammation (gastritis) or stomach bleeding from Naproxen and other nsaids. This combination is often presecribed by doctors for patients at risk of NSAID gastritis.
