A member asked:

Parkinson's medicine can cause. urine or bladder infection ? and cipro (ciprofloxacin) too

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not the case: Parkinson's medicines have no effect on urinary or bladder infections, but pts with parkinson's may have higher risks for infection secondary to the disease itself. If the bacteria are susceptible to cipro, (ciprofloxacin) might be a good choice.
