Avoid both. : Tobacco and weed can lead to psychological dependency. Tobacco also causes physical dependency. Both increase risk of lung cancer. Risk may be minimized if vaporization is used. Weed, thc, may increase risk of schizophrenia. This is seen more in those less than 20 yo. And have a family history of schizophrenia. Short term memory, motivation can be affected. Work/school performance decreases.

Cigarettes far worse: Cigarette smoking increases risk of heart disease, stroke, emphysema & many types of cancer. "weed" has many proven health benefits & has not been shown to increase any of those risks- there is evidence it may even protect against head & neck cancer.
