Depends on diagnosis: This needs more clarification. We have to know what the extent of the hnp was. What caused the nerve compression? How was it treated. You need an evaluation to clarify. What did the MRI show? Which area was involved.

Do you mean HNPP ?: Hereditary neuropathy with liability to pressure palsies is a genetic disorder, usually inherited, but sometimes from a spontaneous mutation. If this is what you mean, there are no specific treatments except wrist splinting. Padding joints, & avoiding positions that create symptoms.
