No: Spider angiomata are one of the commonly recognized stigmata of cirrhosis of the liver. They are red skin lesions composed of a central arteriole surrounded by many smaller vessels. There cause might be an alteration in sex hormone metabolism. Though "spiders" are linked with cirrhosis they are not specific for it, and can be seen in other conditions including pregnancy and healthy people.
