An ovarian follicle matures monthly during the menstrual cycle. As it does so, an egg is ripened and released into the tube. The "cyst" remains behind, producing hormones which may increase in amount, if the cyst receives the proper hormonal stimulation from a fertilized egg. You are describing a healthy process. This is an indicator that you are fertile and likely capable of future pregnancy.
