Stress reduction: Twitching can be due to anxiety or a nerve disease, if its persistent. Stress reduction and following proper sleep hygeine is important.. Have your doctor check you first before considering a drug.

Twitch: Usually may indicate an irritatation of the nerve here. However for what you say it appears you are getting obsessed about it and making it worse. Try not to think about it and focus on something else. If it persist despite your new strategy for 2-3 weeks see your doctor.

Treatment: This is most likely due to muscle spasm. It can easily be addressed with botulinum toxin as needed. See you PCP if it continues to be bothersome and/or you wish to be referred to have the toxin administered.
