Yes - Relax: Very possibly. The stress on the nervous system of the lack of sleep plus the anxiety could trigger an underlying condition that was well compensated until the stress. If the stress is a major factor, relaxation will result in it's disappearance. Still, it is best to have it checked out while it is bad. At least you will know what it is if it should return later. Learn to relax.

Yes: Lack of sleep disrupts the way the body defends itself, in other words reduced immunity. Anxiety together with lack of sleep can magnify an existing problem out of all proportion to reality, or may cause one to believe they have a condition they in fact do not have. Rest and relaxation are easier said than done, but will be of enormous benefit. Best of health and luck!

May need an exam: A twitch is a sudden brief muscle contraction. Two examples of harmless twitches are "sleep jerks" and hiccups. Sleep jerks of an arm or leg occur as one is falling asleep. Hiccups are the result of twitching of the diaphragm muscle. Anxiety can causer twitching. As can exercising. But if frequent twitching persists beyond a week you need to see your physician as it can be a sign of illness.
