Dr said placenta was thick when i went to appt and he did ultrasound at 15 weeks. is this bad? he didn't seemed concerned.

Don't worry: Placentas are variable in shape and change over the course of a pregnancy. The placenta is evaluated at ultrasound to be sure that it has a normal structure and location. Thickness is just one of many criteria used to assess whether you have a healthy placenta. When you have your anatomy screen at 18-22 weeks, the placenta will be reevaluated and hopefully normal.
