Antipsychotics: Both are effective. The difference is the tolerability & side-effect profiles.

Schizophrenia: Per Medscape “Schizophrenia Treatment & Management” updated on 17 SEP 2020- Clozapine “is not recommended as first-line therapy because it has a high burden of adverse effects & requires regular blood work”. However, Clozapine may be the most effective medication overall. Both Clozapine & Arpiprazole are quite effective.
