Circumcision: Circumcision would only be done on an urgent basis if paraphimosis was present.
This happens when the foreskin gets trapped in the rolled back position and swells to the point of compromising the glans penis circulation. Sometimes a dorsal slit is done as a temporary relief to the strangulation.
