You can't: You need to get seen by your dentist , you have cold sores and might have a candidia infection. Eat a mineral rich diet, add foods that will make your body more alkaline. Stay away caffeine and alcohol. Foods rich in the Amino Acid arginine, chocolate, peanut butter, nuts and onions seem to be associated with a higher incidence. Plenty of salads, raw and cooked vegetables, whole grains.

Get checked: Sounds like a possible oral yeast infection, although there are other possibilities--some better, some worse. See your dentist and get it checked out. If it proves to be yeast infection, consider a full physical exam by a physician to check for underlying health issues (such as diabetes) that may be making you susceptible.

Yeast infection: You may have yeast infection on roof of the mouth. Check if your tongue has the white coating. Treated with topical or systemic antifungal meds. Your canker sore also may have filled with white or yellow pus. There is no real treatment for canker sore, as they will resolve between 7-12 days. Palliative treatment to help with the discomfort included topical benzocaine. Keep the area clean.
