Specializes in Psychiatry

See a psychiatrist: I don't know whether you're seeing a psychiatrist, or receiving your pills from your family doctor. If the meds you're taking aren't working though, it's time to consult with a psychiatrist. Psychiatrists are trained to deal with all kinds of depression -- including those that seem resistant to treatment or which need additional interventions. Psychotherapy is an essential part of treatment too.
