See dentist: Sounds like it could be a sinus problem. However periodontal disease can also cause this. A home care problem may also be involved. Brushing the tongue with an extra soft toothbrush twice daily is important. Also rinsing and gargling with an antimicrobial mouthwash may help. If not a dental visit is in order!

See a dentist: When was his last dental visit? Perhaps he is way overdue for a cleaning. He could also have periodontal problems or untreated decay.

See a professional: The major cause of halitosis is gum problems. Your husband should see your dentist and be checked for periodontal disease.
