Surgery/Procedures: For the treatment of external hemmorrhoids, please consult a surgeon. Hemmorrhoidectomy or surgical removal of external hemmorrhoids is one option. Elastic bands, tied around the hemmorrhoids, in order to cut off the blood supply, may lead to ischemic necrosis and fall of external hemmorrhoids.Thanks.

Hemmorhoids: It is a very common problem, not to worry. Can be related to either constipation or diarrhea. Hemorrhoids should be evaluated by a colo-rectal or general surgeon you will require dietary, bathroom habit modifications and sometimes office based procedures if medical management is ineffective.
