What are the cons of having mastopexy surgery?

Scars and recurrence: Mastopexy surgery requires incisions which obviously result in scars, however well healed. There is also recurrence of ptosis (sagging) over time. That being said, the benefits for those women who have significant deformity is worth accepting the negatives.

Mastopexy risks: Are many... Nipple issues including numbness, loss, and asymmetry as well as poor scarring around the areola or breast (lollipop or anchor incisions), and breast asymmetries, fat necrosis and masses are just a few. But you will usually have perkier breast that allows you to go braless at times. Only you can decide if this is worth it to you.

Primarily scars: Both internal and external scars are the primary concern. While a lift will later the position of the nipple to the breast mound and crease, it will not necessarily achieve fullness which will require an implant or fat grafting.
