Lupus: There are quite a few tests that we use to diagnose lupus along with a physical exam. Some of these tests are: antinuclear antibodies (ana), anti-sm, anti-dsdna, and anti-rnp. Others might be used, but these are some of the main tests.

Ana 1:80 but it was 1:2560 in the past. New doc doesn't think lupus despite firm diagnosis despite 5 hospitalizations for flares. Why does ANA and other tests fluctuate? I definitely have lupus!
