Clinical and lab DX!: Your pcp can address this by identifying the clinical features of systemic lupus erythematosus, and the positive laboratory tests to confirm this diagnosis. Since many lupus features can be found in many other conditions, see your doctor!

Lupus: There are quite a few tests that we use to diagnose lupus along with a physical exam. Some of these tests are: antinuclear antibodies (ana), anti-sm, anti-dsdna, and anti-rnp. Others might be used, but these are some of the main tests.
