I have anemia and get really bad headaches. can that be the reason for the headaches? what can i do to relieve the pain?

Yes.: Severe anemia can be associated with headaches. The most important issue is identifying the cause of the anemia and correcting it. If anemia is the cause of the headaches, proper treatment will take care of them. The most common cause ina premenopausal female is iron deficiency. If that is the situation, you have taken iron, and are not improving, you need to see a hematologist and/or ob-gyn.
