What are your goals?: The follicular phase varies from person to person. The luteal phase is consistently about 14 days. Instead of thinking about these phases determine your goals. If your goal is cycle regulation then birth control methods can help. If your goal is pregnancy then a home ovulation kit would help. You would expect to ovulate 14 days before your next anticipated period.
