A member asked:

I have a lump beneath my hip bone on my right side (groin area?). it is slightly painful to the touch and moveable. what could this be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lymph node: This sounds like a reactive lymph node. It can be swollen from a small cut (like from shaving) or other infection in the groin or leg area. It should go back to normal over a few weeks but if it keeps getting bigger you need to see a health provider to check it out.
