PID: Pid requires antibiotics to cure. It is typically the result of sexually transmitted infections. There is a possibility of tubal damage and blockage leading to infertility after pid. After appropriate treatment if you are unable to conceive, see your gynecologist for tubal evaluation. In the meantime condoms and safe sex practices are very important.

This is tough, but: If you had pid they should have treated you with antibiotics (a pill and an intramuscular jection). Pid can damage the tubes and scar them leading to infertility so most physicians are pretty liberal when it comes to treating.
