Have sore bruised feeling in my pointer and ring finger knuckles, theyre slightly reddish purple and itch, the skin isnt dry and not really swollen?

Not Sure: Hard to say what could be going on from your description. Things like excema, or psoriasis can cause skin redness and itchiness, although they don't usually cause pain. Other types of skin problems from allergic reactions to scabies could cause itchiness. If topical Hydrocortisone doesn't help get it checked out by your doctor.
