Menopause: If your fsh is this high, you are likely menopausal. Of corurse, in order to be in menopause your period has to have stopped.

Menopause: In menopause the fsh is elevated in response to the lack of estrogen. One can think of the pituitary as "trying to get the ovaries to make estrogen" by putting out a large amount of fsh, but the ovaries no longer are able to produce estrogen or ovulate.

Menopause soon: An fsh level that high means that you are either already in menopause or are "peri-menopause". These levels can change, so you still may get more periods in the future but they likely will not last.
