A member asked:

What does a fsh of 1.8 mean am i in menopause or getting close? 51 year old female

A doctor has provided 1 answer

FSH: An FSH level under 10 at our laboratory is considered normal. If your lab is similar, it means that you're not menopausal and I assume you're still having menstrual periods. Generally FSH levels over 30 with no menstrual period for a year indicates menopause. If these observations don't pertain to you, ask your gynecologist for advice.
