Menstruation: Cycles vary both in the frequency with which they occur, the degree to which persons bleed, and may be associated with cramping and other symptoms. They may occasionally spot. None of this is necessarily abnormal unless it becomes persistent or excessive. If you do not let up in a day or two, see a gynecologist.
