Had an exam lately?: Being the worrier that i am, I am always concerned when people mention difficulty breathing. Your weight and being male may be risk factors for heart disease. Others are smoking, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, a family history of heart trouble, and inactivity. Any of these apply? Please get to your doctor for a full physical. Likely, you'll find the information reassuring. But get checked.

Many possibilities: Shortness of breath can be common for lots of reasons, most not serious. Anxiety, body position, being out of shape are some. However, some heart and lung conditions can also cause shortness of breath. Other concerning symptoms can be chest pain or pressure, swelling, problems laying flat, wheezing, coughing.Since may have weight issue, good to sit down and review your health.
