Cholecystitis: Chronic cholecystitits or gallbladder sludge has symptoms of bloating, belching, pain after eating, gas, and right upper abdominal pain. Symptoms can be controlled with low fat diet and extra hydration. Gallbladder removal is a safe and effective surgery for this diagnosis. Okay to ask for a surgery consult.
