Scar care recs: The scar is probably quite mature at this point since it resulted from a childhood injury. Scar revision can be done for prominent, thickned and undesirable scars. Seek the opinion of a local board certified plastic surgeon in your area.

Make-up: Unfortunately you cannot earse a scar but there are ways to make them look better. A quick fix is make-up: redish scars are hidden by green based make-ups. Other methods are not as quick such as laser, topical scar treatments, surgical scar revision.

Scar revision: Depending on the appearance of the scar it can be excised and revised or possibly dermabraded. You would need to be seen to complete an evaluation.
