Spinter for 2 years: You should probably not do anything. While splinters may cause infection or bleeding, this does not appear to have happened to you, and these are the principle reason to remove splinters acutely. At this point, your splinter is probably pretty stable and happy. You body, on the other hand, is constantly working to try to through it out of your skin, and it will eventually succeed. Just wait.

See a doctor: You should a foot doctor to get it removed using local anesthetic . It can be very difficult to do by yourself.
