May be callus: On the bottom of foot it may be a callus. Keep your feet dry,wear properly fitted shoes,wear cotton socks.Soak foot on warm water for 10 minutes the gently rub the callus with pumice stone to rub off dead skin then apply moisturizing cream.If this does not help in about 3 months,it would be a good idea to see a poiatrist to consider surgical removal.Is it dangerous? No. Take care

Corn: An exam is needed to determine if it is a wart or callous . One is caused by pressure ( callous) and the other is caused by a virus. Both have very different treatment methods . This will be discussed with you when you see your podiatrist .
