A member asked:

I have this tingling sensation that lasts anywhere from ten to fifteen seconds that's been happening over the last few days, could it be anxiety?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tingling sensation: Most tingling sensations, almost anywhere in the body, are due to either pscyhological stress or anxiety, muscle fatigue (as after vigorous exercise), or irritation or pressure on various nerves from being in an unusual or uncomfortable position for a long time. They tend to come in clusters, lasting usually around a week. If they last more than a month, consult your doctor.
