Coming and going? : Sounds like you had a contraction. Generally we recommend going to the hospital when contractions are five minutes apart for at least an hour. If you are in severe pain or the contraction does not go away then be seen in labor and delivery.

Call the service: It is important that you communicate openly any change of status as you approach delivery. If you call the ob's service/office they can discuss any symptoms you are having & whether you need to come in for baby monitoring or just rest at home. Babies can undergo some stress late in pregnancy & early detection of problems gives the best outcome.
