I was prescribed qvar and serevent (salmeterol). qvar is 3 puffs twice a day and serevent (salmeterol) is 1, twice a day. is it ok to take them at the same time ie: 9am and 9pm?

Yes, Serevent (salmeterol) first,: Use serevent (salmeterol) first, then qvar. Serevent (salmeterol) opens the airway and lets Qvar get in better. Serevent (salmeterol) is slow acting and waiting a few minutes would help.
