A member asked:

When you're anemic is it normal for your fingernails to turn a yellowish color?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Anemia and nails: Anemia usually causes a pale or whitish appearance to fingernails, rather than yellow. If your anemia is caused by iron deficiency, yellow nails have be associated with low iron. Yellowish nails could be a result of a nail fungus (though probably wouldn't be all 10 fingernails at the same time).
