Yes, for a check-up: The point of having a check-up is to also examine the parts of a patient's body that do not have any symptoms. Because clothing blocks a doctor's view, being undressed allows a better, thorough exam. For people over age 2 years, disposable capes/gowns are used, or parts of the body are examined at a time (allowing the other parts of the body to remain covered until it's their turn to be examined).
