A member asked:

I hit my thyroid really hard. it's very tingle and cold now. should i be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See a doctor: It is unusual for people to be able to tell they hit their thyroid. Several vital structures are close to the thyroid gland. If you feel better and have no problems breathing or swallowing, most likely you are ok now, but if in doubt, check with your doctor. To check if your thyroid is working properly, they can check a TSH level in your blood.
