There seems to be 2 issues here. One may be some superficial nerve injury from the needle. The firm lump may be a hardened blood clot that formed under the skin from some bleeding that occurred during the needle puncture. Was the area black&blue which indicate that subcutaneous bleeding did occur. I don't think the procedure facilitated metastases. Your MD or endocrinologist can evaluate & advise
