No short answer: Inner ear problems can cause acute dizziness. Chronic inner ear weakness will cause dizziness mostly with movement and holding still is helpful. Neck problems, low blood pressure, medications, anxiety are all causes of chronic dizziness. Evaluation can be extensive to, determine the cause. I suggest seeing an ENT especially in neurootology. Getting rid of it requires accurate diagnosis.
