Yes, see your doctor: Yes it could just be a viral cold but it could also be bacterial bronchitis or pneumonia and you should see your doctor to have your temperature checked as well as throat and ears looked at. Whooping cough is also making a come back these days.

Yes to both : An x-ray would be helpful at this point. Usually after ten days of illness bacterial infection is present as bronchitis or pneumonia.
