Detached: Nitrous oxide gives you a feeling of being detached from your surroundings. You are aware of things, but have a slightly altered perspective.

Varies: Some patients become happy and laugh while others become relax with a surreal feeling. It is a very safe gas for dental procedures. Enjoy!

Floating on air: For most patients- relaxing, "floating on air", time passes quicker, senses numbed, sense of well being, less anxious, "drifting off", etc. For a few people who are claustrophobic or need to be in control, they don't like the feeling, although most people love it once they have tried it.
