Even so...: Even if this is "just hemorrhoids" you should not just live with it. If stool softeners, water, fiber, etc are not working, see a colorectal surgeon - they can get to the bottom of this quickly (i know, bad pun...).

Don't worry: Get educated, informed and checked. An anoscopy can show bleeding coming from the hemorrhoids and a sigmoid or colonoscopy can look into the intestines to make sure nothing more serious is coming from higher up.
