Always carry EpiPen (epinephrine): Peanut and tree nut allergies have some of the highest rates of fatal anaphylaxis, and Epinephrine can be life saving. Unfortunately, you cannot predict how severe a person's reaction will be based on a previous reaction--there are too many variables. For that reason, in general we recommend that everyone with any history of reaction to these foods carry an epi pen. See an allergist for more info.
